Cancellation insurance What does this one actually entail?

Of course, we hope you will not be forced to cancel your stay, but in case this does come up, you can find cancellation insurance here.

In case of cancellation

THE UNIFORM CONDITIONS FOR THE HOTEL AND CATERING INDUSTRY

In case of cancellation:

  • More than 1 month before arrival you are not obliged to pay any amount to us.
  • More than 14 days before arrival you are obliged to pay 15% of the reservation value to us.
  • More than 7 days before arrival you are obliged to pay 35% of the reservation value to us.
  • More than 3 days before arrival you are obliged to pay 60% of the reservation value to us.
  • More than 24 hours before arrival you are obliged to pay 85% of the reservation value to us.
  • Within 24 hours before arrival you are obliged to pay 100% of the reservation value to us.

These percentages are legally defined in article 9.2.1 of the Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry 2017.

 We advise you to take out a cancellation insurance (5% of the reservation value) to avoid unnecessary costs.

 

When changing the arrival date:

  • More than 24 hours before arrival you are not obliged to pay any amount to us (once) *
  • Within 24 hours before arrival you are obliged to pay a change fee of € 10, -

* € 10 will be charged for each subsequent change.

Within 48 hours, after you have indicated to us to change the date of your booking, the new arrival date must be communicated to us. If a higher rate applies to the new date, these additional costs will be for your own account.

When changing the reservation, the right to cancel free of charge expires. In that case the cancellation fee is always 100% of the reservation value.
