- Can I bring my dog to Hotel Zuiderduin?
Yes, Hotel Zuiderduin has special rooms where dogs are welcome*. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, pud, bowling, sauna and swimming pool.
Before making a reservation, we kindly ask you to contact us first to check the availability of rooms that allow dogs. We would like to inform you that we allow a maximum of two dogs per room and that an additional charge of € 20,00* for one dog per night and € 25,00 for two dogs per night will be charged (assistance dogs excluded). Please take this into account when planning your stay.
* Pets other than dogs are not permitted in the hotel or apartment.
- What are the check-in and check-out times at Hotel Zuiderduin?
At Hotel Zuiderduin you can check in and check out 24/7. Your room is available from 3pm on the day of arrival. Check out is possible until 10.30 am. Are you staying in the suite of Hotel Zuiderduin? Then you have until 12.00 to check out.
- How can I make a reservation?
You can book online, by phone, or in person at the hotel reception. All reservations are subject to availability.
Online booking
Making an online reservation is easy:
- Choose your preferred offer, hotel room or apartment. Click ‘Prices and availability’ or ‘Book this room’.
- Select your arrival and departure dates, number of rooms, and number of guests. Click ‘Check availability’.
- Choose your preferred room and click the ‘Select’ button.
- Add any extras to t your booking and click ‘Next’ to enter your details.
- Enter your personal information or log in with your account. Click 'I want to check my booking'.
- Check your reservation, select your payment method* and click 'I want to pay'.
Once you’ve completed all the steps, a booking confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided.
* If you’ve selected an online payment method, choose your bank and follow the instructions to complete your payment.
* If you’ve chosen ‘Pay on arrival’, please ensure the full amount is paid when you check in.

- How can I reserve a baby cot?
Would you like to reserve a cot (€7.50 per night)? Please contact our reservations department at +31 (0)72 750 2000 or fill in the contact form, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
- Is breakfast included at Hotel Zuiderduin?
Breakfast is included* during your stay at Hotel Zuiderduin. It is not possible to book a room without breakfast. You are welcome between 07.30 and 10.30 for breakfast at Restaurant Zuiderduin.

- Can I park for free in Egmond aan Zee?
In Egmond aan Zee, paid parking applies:
- From 1 March to 1 November, between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. daily.
- From 1 November to 1 March, on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (as of 1 January 2023). Parking is free on all other days.

Some Hotel in Egmond accommodations offer private parking. Others offer digital parking permits for a fee. You can check what applies to the hotel or apartment of your choice on the website.
New Parking Meters
The municipality of Bergen is currently replacing parking meters. Work in Egmond aan Zee will continue until mid-April. Please note the following for the new machines:
- Payment is digital only, via card or phone. Coins are no longer accepted.
- No printed ticket will be issued. You will receive a digital one. Parking is monitored based on your number plate.
You can still use a parking app as an alternative to the meters.
The replacement of the meters does not affect existing parking rules, permits, or permit zones.
- Can I park my car at Hotel Zuiderduin?
Guests of Hotel Zuiderduin can use our parking deck or car park free of charge, subject to availability:
- Our hotel has 370 rooms and offers 245 on-site parking spaces, therefore we cannot guarantee a parking space for every guest. Booking in advance is not possible, entering the license plate number in advance does not guarantee a parking space.
- If there are no more parking spaces available, you can park on the street in Egmond aan Zee. This is paid parking, the parking rate is € 2.40 per hour, with a maximum of € 14.40 per day. You can pay at the parking meters outside.
- On your day of departure, you can use our parking facilities free of charge until 12 noon at the latest.
Important: by order of the fire brigade, electric cars are not allowed to park in our garage. You can park your electric car on our parking deck.
Parking without staying overnight
Are you not a hotel guest but are you coming to Hotel Zuiderduin to dine, swim or go bowling? Then we ask you to park outside our hotel grounds. Paid parking applies in Egmond aan Zee:
- 1 March to 1 November, from 10am to 7pm.
- 1 November to 1 March, on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm. Free parking applies on other days.
